Does anyone know why in 1927 someone would leave the detroit area to get married in Bowling Green Ohio? I'm so confused by this....

It was common for folks to go to Bowling Green to get married, because the time for waiting to get married was much quicker. When love strikes some people could not wait.

Hi My ancestors the Horsetemeiers from Bunde Germany had a farm in Pemberville around 1890-1930. I have family photos of my mom, etc. on this farm. Where can I see information to trace them? I know the 1890 census was destroyed by fire, but I would like any info on who exactly lived there. John Frederick Horstemeier was the name I have for an owner. Thanks Sally in Strongsville, Ohio
