Native American
Everybody has an Indian Princess story in their family tree. Is it really true? Here is an excellent site for learning how to trace our Native American Ancestors. www.accessgenealogy.com/native/
Our family story was we had a Native American in our tree, but not sure where, probably Choctaw or maybe Cherokee. After getting back my DNA results from FamilyTree DNA, it turned out to be true. My mtDNA was from a Native American tribe. Waiting to see if AncestryDNA, 23andme, or the Geno 2.0 tests provide greater detail.

I really wish you hadn't used that term :) I've been educating people out of it for years! It's a European invention. The truth is more interesting.
